Drama Queens: Wild Women of the Silver Screen
by Autumn Stephens
This book reminds me of On Being Blonde, a pocketbook highlighting blonde celebrities with quotes and a mini-bio of each. In Drama Queens, however, blondes aren’t the only women who are featured.
Welcome Ava Gardner, who lived of one of the most salacious Hollywood lives, and Rita Hayworth, the redhead with legs for miles. This book includes more biographical information than quotes, and Autumn Stephens sticks with the factual details that constitute “drama queen status”. The more scandals, rebellion, tears behind the camera, and badder the better.
Personally, I liked On Being Blonde better, but I love Elizabeth Taylor as much as the next girl, so I did like the inclusions of other females regardless of hair color. If you like old movies, and in particular, classic actresses, give this pocketbook a whirl!
