Alright, since you know I was a political science major in college, and since I started you on the basic political books in November, it’s time to get to the nitty gritty. And by that, of course, I mean presidential biographies. Nothing’s better than reading fantastically wonderful trivia about your favorite famous people, or stocking up on filthy dirt about your worst famous people. So, for your reading pleasure, I have now posted 9 biographies and memoirs about Presidents Reagan, Nixon, Madison, and Wilson on the Books page. What are some of your favorite political books?

Michael Caine's time as Star of the Week has come to a close, and all 70 of his reviews, and a review of his memoir, are now posted to his page. Hope you enjoyed it, as well as all the other movie and book reviews we've done this past year! I've had a wonderful time and look forward to the lineup for 2018. The clue for the next star, the very first 2018 Star of the Week is:
Next week's star starred in two remakes of very famous Michael Caine movies, and in one of them, he acted alongside his predecessor! My latest novel Years in an Instant has just hit the shelves, so head on over to my sister website to read more about it! It's the sequel to my critically-acclaimed book from last year, Like a Closed Fist, and all your favorite characters return to join Phoebe in the next leg of the journey. Hot Toasty Rag's last Star of the Week for 2017 is Michael Caine! He's going to take up the entire month, because I'm planning on sharing 71 of his movies. Yes, that's a lot, but he's one of my all-time favorite celebrity boyfriends. I may have written him a fan letter when I was in high school, telling him I thought he was dreamy. So, to start things off with a bang, we've got 10 of his movies posted to his page, as well as a review of his second memoir The Elephant to Hollywood. Check out my reviews for Alfie, California Suite, The Cider House Rules, Gambit, Hannah and Her Sisters, Hurry Sundown, Noises Off, The Wilby Conspiracy, X Y and Zee, and Zulu. Enjoy and come back tomorrow for more! |
