I Could Pee on This and Other Poems by Cats
by Francesco Marciuliano
A very silly, very small hardcover flipbook, with poems "by" cats. It's entertaining if you're a die-hard cat lover, which I am. The corresponding pictures are the cutest part, with sleeping kitties, plotting kitties, smiling kitties, and kitties on typewriters to keep the poems company. A very quick read, to be brought out when you need a smile.
The poems are not brilliant, but for cat lovers, we don't need them to be worthy of a Pulitzer. Perhaps my favorite line from the title poem: "Her new boyfriend just pushed my head away. I could pee on him." For anyone whose furry friend peed in an inappropriate place because of a new boyfriend, pick this up on Amazon and get ready to giggle.
