Tequila Mockingbird
by Tim Federle
This adorable little hardcover pocketbook is useful in so many ways. Classic book titles are transformed into cocktail recipes, nonalcoholic beverages for the kiddies, and party food ideas. I’ve discovered so many scrumptious new cocktails from this book—it’s always a treat to flip through the pages and try something new.
At the start of the book, basic liquor flavors and uses are explained, as well as equipment to mix drinks, so you can easily reference something if you’re stumped by a recipe. At the end of the book, drinking games are suggested for when you fix your yummy drinks for your book-club buddies (or just regular buddies). And in-between, hilarious spoofs of classic titles, and mini-synopses are given so you know what story you’re drinking! Seriously, you’ll be laughing just as much as you’ll be drinking.
I absolutely love this book and can’t imagine my liquor cabinet without it. Go pick up your copy and find out why!
