Wrong Number, Right Guy
by Elle Casey
Despite the headless hunky man on the cover, this is not a dirty book. I was a little weary, convinced that there would be heaving bosoms on every page, or some modern equivalent, but based on a girlfriend's recommendation, I gave it a try.
Seriously, one of the funniest books I've ever read. The main character is hilarious without being awkward and ridiculous, and her internal monologue had me in stitches. Do me a favor and read the first chapter. If you crack up over the predictive spelling errors in the text exchange, you'll probably think the rest of the book is funny. If you think it's just a little too silly, this might not be for you. The heroine, in a loyal attempt to rescue her over-burdened sister, clip-clops her way into a seedy bar, armed with her purse pooch and high heels. The irony is that she hasn't been texting her sister the entire time, and someone else accidentally got hold of her phone number, sending her to the dive bar. Hence Wrong Number, Right Guy.
While the plot diverges into a little action, a little family antics, a little romance, and a little suspense, the main reason to read it is for the humor. If you've had a bad day, or just want to read a little fluff with a lot of laughs, pick this cute book up on Amazon.
