Wrong Place, Right Time
by Elle Casey
Elle Casey has a four-volume series of romantic comedies set in an action-packed New Orleans. I’ve read the entire series, and the second book Wrong Place, Right Time is one of my favorites. The good news is that each book is a standalone and can be read out of order or completely on its own.
In the first book, the adorable heroine had a sister. She was perpetually frazzled, being a single mother without a moment to herself. She takes the lead in this second book, so there are parts of the book where Elle Casey shows us how everyone from the first book is doing. The new heroine is equally lovable, and she’s side-splittingly funny. Motherhood is at its finest at her house, and her kids take her to the edge of her sanity, leaving her just enough room in her brain and heart to possibly fall in love—but you’ll have to read the book to find out. This is a great, fast-paced series if you’re looking for a laugh; and don’t worry, they aren’t nasty books, even though covers look like they might be.
