Notes from the Members of the Board:
1955 is a special and significant year, in that all our lives we have thought 1955 was the travesty of all travesties for the Academy Awards. This year’s winners were one of the main reasons why we wanted to do the Hot Toasty Rags in the first place. So it goes without saying that every winner of the Academy Awards was changed at the Rag Awards. In fact, only one of the Oscar winners was even nominated for a Rag.
