A Witch's Work Is Never Done
by Kate Moseman
Having read the first book A Good Demon Is Hard to Find in an afternoon, I picked up the sequel, A Witch’s Work Is Never Done. These funny, quick reads are great in an afternoon when you need a burst of entertainment and humor. Technically called “paranormal romance”, the interactions between demons and mortals mirror a middle-school’s “do you like me, check this box?” maturity, so while I would never seek out that genre, it wasn’t so serious as to really bother me.
The bulk of the book is funny, focusing on the two leads’ adventures in Paris during a witch convention. The secondary characters in the first book are given their own story in this one, and you’ll also get to catch a glimpse of Erin and Andy. While the first book focused more on the mortal world, this sequel has a great deal to do with magic, witches, demons, and angels; if you like that environment and you like to laugh, it’ll be right up your alley.
