Can't Hardly Wait (1998)
Of all the teen comedies of the 1990s, Can’t Hardly Wait wasn’t the best one, but I certainly watched it a lot. My mom thought it was a little too inappropriate, but that might have been the reason I rented it so many times. Mostly, I liked to watch the teenage scene to prepare myself for the onslaught of high school, but when I finally got to the upper grades, it didn’t end up being nearly as wild as Hollywood had me believe. And I was one of only a handful of girls who wanted to look as delectable as Jennifer Love Hewitt and Alicia Silverstone; the grunge look made a brief comeback.
