Into Your Arms
by Abigail Strom
This sweet, slow-burning romance is a great “nightstand book”, as I call it. It has a simple plot, interesting characters, but it’s not so compelling that if you read a chapter a night before falling asleep it won’t keep you awake and you won’t forget what’s happening the next day.
The heroine is career-focused and loves her dancing. She’s a ballerina, but she’s in her thirties, so she should really be expecting (and accepting) that her dancing days are numbered. It’s a tough blow, though, and much of her time is spent adjusting to that transition. Which is very refreshing! It’s so nice to read a young woman who’s more interested in her self-worth than in her quest for a boyfriend. This girl is strong and doesn’t need a man, but when a handsome one moves in next door, she is a little interested. Check this one out if you’re more interested in story than romance.
