The Bourne Identity (2002)
When Matt Damon washes up ashore in Italy with no memory of who he is, it’s the start of a huge action movie franchise. He stars as Jason Bourne the ex-CIA agent who can’t remember anything but finds himself running for his life as the bad guys (or were they once the good guys?) chase him down. Chris Cooper, the agency director, orders a bunch of agents out to assassinate Matt, but since there are four more movies, it’s a safe bet that Clive Owen and the other bad guys don’t succeed in their mission.
Since I’m not a Matt Damon fan, it’s a synch I wouldn’t enjoy these movies as much as the Mission Impossible movies. My dad loves these, though. I think he has a boxed set and likes to watch weekend marathons every once in a while. Gents will probably love these action movies, and since I realize I’m in the minority with my opinion of the lead actor, ladies will probably like them, too.
More Julia Stiles movies here!
